Sidhil Permaflex Plus Pressure Relief Foam Mattress

Castellated foam pressure care mattress for high risk users

Ideal for use in care homes, hospitals and residential care

Castellated areas enhance relief for scapula, sacrum and heels

High density foam at the sides for stability during transfers

Patients at a high risk of pressure sore development are often at even higher risk in certain areas – usually the scapula, sacrum and heel areas. The Sidhil Permaflex Plus Pressure Relief Mattress is designed to provide excellent pressure distribution for the entire area, and includes special castellated zones at high risk areas to provide even further relief, helping to prevent skin breakdown in high risk patients.

This pressure care mattress is an ideal option for bed-bound patients in care homes, hospitals and residential care settings who are at a high risk of pressure ulcer development. Since it includes specially castellated zones at the sacrum, scapula and heel areas, it is particularly suited to lower mobility patients who may be at especially high risk of skin breakdown in these vulnerable areas.

Castellated foam (foam with small separations in a certain area to create a number of small, independently moving sections is particularly useful for protection of skin, as it will move with the patient rather than pulling against the skin. This will help to greatly reduce shear forces, which is one of the key causes of pressure sore development.

Standard foam mattresses can often be too flimsy for use during patient transfers, posing a risk to the patient if a care team were to attempt to move them while still lying down. The Permaflex Plus Pressure Care Mattress provides a solution to this problem with inclusion of high density foam formers at the sides, providing a more sturdy surface to mitigate the risk of the patient rolling off the side while a transfer is taking place.

The cover includes welded seams and an enclosed zip to ensure durability and reduce the risk of fluid ingress. To further protect the skin of the patient, the cover is made with multi-stretch material that will help to reduce shear and friction forces

Key Features

Foam pressure relief mattress suitable for high risk patients

Ideal for care homes, hospital and residential care settings

Zoned castellation provides additional relief for scapula, sacrum and heel areas

Reinforced high density foam side formers provide additional stability for transfers

Trinity Plus Premier Visco Elastic Pressure Relief Foam Mattress

Very High Risk Pressure Relief

The Trinity Plus Premier Mattress utilises a visco elastic foam insert to provide an exceptionally high level of pressure relief. Suitable for patients at high to very high risk of developing pressure sores, the foam works to redistribute body weight, reducing the build-up of pressure points to help stop pressure wounds developing.

Alongside visco elastic foam, the mattress also features a tough PU base. This provides a protective surface to resist hydrolysis and strike through, aiding patient safety further. The base also prevents the mattress from bottoming out, increasing longevity and cost-efficacy.

Designed for Comfort

As well as providing a fantastic level of pressure relief for very high risk patients, this mattress also provides exceptional comfort. Contoured keyhole cuts enable the mattress to contour to an individual’s unique body shape, helping the mattress feel incredibly comfortable and supportive to each user.

Reinforced Side Walls

Helping to make transfers easier and safer for both patient and practitioner, the Trinity Plus Premier features a reinforced U-shaped base and side walls. These give the mattress an increased level of stability and support, and provide the added benefit of reducing foam fatigue to aid longevity.

Can the Trinity Plus Pressure Relief Mattress Be Used On a Profiling Bed?

Yes, you can safely and securely mount this Trinity Plus Pressure Relief Mattress on a profiling bed provided the size of the bed beneath adequately accommodates the dimensions of the mattress.

Does the Trinity Plus Pressure Relief Mattress Contain Latex?

No, the Trinity Plus is completely latex-free, making it ideal for those with concerns regarding allergies and allergic reactions.

Protective, Comfortable Cover

To help maximise comfort even more, the Trinity Plus Premier Mattress also includes a two-way stretch cover that helps to reduce shear and friction. In addition to improving comfort, the cover also works to protect the mattress. Waterproof and vapour-permeable, the cover works to reduce fluid ingress and aid infection control.

Dyna Form Mercury Advance Dynamic Hybrid Mattress

The Dyna-Form® Mercury Advance is a dynamic mattress replacement system combined with the benefits of modern foam technology. It is specifically designed for patients considered to be at ‘Very High Risk’ of pressure ulcer development. Offering high levels of patient comfort, this unique system has the facility to ‘step up’ to that of a dynamic mattress when clinically required. Similarly, the mattress function can be ‘stepped down’ as the patient’s condition improves.

These features make it particularly beneficial for use within the patient’s home or palliative care environment and help reduce logistic and decontamination costs. The clinical benefits of a single system are equally applicable to those of a modern hospital setting.

A higher maximum weight capacity, up to 40 stone / 254kg, allows the product to meet the challenges of heavier patients.
All component parts are interchangeable and replaceable, maximising product life and reducing environmental impact. The outer cover comprising a high frequency welded, multi stretch and vapour permeable Dartex fabric satisfies the strictest infection control policies.
